I Blah You cupcakes

Check out these custom Valentine’s Day “I Blah You” cupcakes – a private joke upon request from a custom, by Sugar Siren in Mackay, Australia! They can also be found on Facebook and you can place orders by emailing sugarsirencakes at gmail.com They were dark chocolate mud cake cupcakes with a rich chocolate buttercream made with chocolate ganache. All the toppers were edible & made from marshmallow fondant. For the windmills & the “I blah you” I used large heart shapes that I embossed with a floral design & then finished with a light dusting of lustre dust.

Big Love

That’s what I feel for this oversized cookie. It’s the kind of love that involves brown sugar and it has everything to do with these little morsels. Oh… butterscotch, how I love the… I don’t even need the cookie. I could just munch on you guys for eternity. Unless of course we’re talking about adding a little chocolate. Then, you could twist my arm and make me eat the cookie, too. You’ll have to twist hard. Like I said… just a little chocolate. Spread the love. The cookie heart pan is from Wilton. I found it the other day and snatched it right up. I’ve seen them online, at my local cake supply store and also at the grocery store. Grab one while you can. Alright, I’m going in… Don’t try and stop me… you might get hurt. I mean it… all in. yeah… that’s it. Now, if you’ll excuse me… I don’t want you to watch the rest. It won’t be pretty. This is a special guest post for my lovely friend Ria of Ria’s Collection all the way in far off India. She is getting married and asked me if I would like to help her feed her blog during this extremely busy time and I said “Why of course! Anything for a friend” How exciting! Our friend Emily Farris tells you everything you need to know about Kansas City Valentine’s Day cupcakes in the Kansas City Free Press . The folks at Babycakes, located in the City Market, are going all out for Valentine’s Day. In addition to decorating their regular, delicious cupcake inventory for the holiday, they’re offering two special Valentine’s treats beginning Thursday. The first, called The Big Love, is a plastic heart-shaped box packed with chocolates, mini cupcakes and three chocolate-dipped strawberries ($24.95). If you’re looking for a little less sugary love, try the Sweetheart Sandwich — icing sandwiched between chocolate and red velvet heart-shaped cakes, all rolled in sprinkles ($5.95)… A little farther south, near the Plaza, Cupcake a la Mode is celebrating the sweetest of holidays with two special flavors the entire month of February.
